Once you have the basics down and you're proudly wearing your handmade bronze pendant, you might be itching to get back in the studio to make other things! Maybe your best friend has a birthday coming up, or you want to get an early start on Christmas presents... or you just want to keep all the bling for yourself! This is your time to work in the studio and experience your own creativity freely, using all the tools and textures I have available. (That's a LOT!) These are informal sessions, working alongside me in studio. Two jewelry artists side-by-side. And of course I am here for guidance throughout. All studio sessions include 50g metal clay and the kiln-firing of finished greenware. Fired works are available for pickling and pickup one week after studio session.

Supplies: 25g Light Bronze Clay (with the opportunity to purchase more in-studio,) tools, texture mats, cutters, molds, kiln-firing. First-time studio bookings receive free metal finishing/polishing instruction at post-firing pickup.

About Lauren

I am a lifelong professional artist. My early photography is still seen in episodes of "Friends" and with Reese Witherspoon in "Legally Blonde." Zac Efron, Matt LeBlanc, and Paris Hilton have all sat in front of my camera in the living room. But the 9/11 attacks on NYC completely shifted my focus, and I accepted the life-altering assignment of documenting the tireless efforts of rescue and relief workers at Ground Zero. In 2014, I moved to Denver to study drawing and painting. Diving into the spirit of Contemporary Western art, I built a body of work and began showing. In 2015, I took a metal clay workshop in silver and got hooked! NWA became my home in 2020. Since then, I have been making statement jewelry inspired by the amazing textures and formations of The Natural State.
