Safety is part of the listing.
Before a studio goes live on Heirloom, we check the same things families ask about: a real business, proper insurance, a safe space, and vetted instructors.
Business registration
We confirm your studio or workshop is registered as a legitimate teaching business with a current business license or equivalent local registration.
Liability insurance
We verify your business carries current general liability insurance that covers classes and workshops in your space.
Space review
You share photos, video, or a short walkthrough of your teaching space so we can confirm it is safe, accessible, and appropriate for learners.
Instructor background checks
Every instructor who teaches through Heirloom completes a background check, so learners and families can book with confidence.
Small teaching businesses of all kinds.
Heirloom is built for small teaching businesses of all kinds — pottery studios, fiber arts shops, cooking classes, herbal apothecaries, woodworking workshops, floral design studios, craft stores with class programs, and anyone else who teaches something worth learning.
