From parents: name, email, phone, billing information (via Stripe), the names and ages of the children you enroll, and any notes you share with mentors about your child.
From mentors: name, address, date of birth, government ID (via Stripe Identity), background-check results (via our provider), insurance certificates, tax information, and payout details.
From every visitor: device and log information, cookies used to keep you signed in, and analytics on how the platform is used.
2. Information about minors
We collect information about children only from a verified parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent may review, correct, or delete their child's information at any time by contacting support@heirloomlearn.com.
3. How we use information
- To operate the marketplace and process bookings and payments.
- To verify mentor identity and screen for safety.
- To communicate with you about your account and sessions.
- To respond to safety incidents and legal requests.
4. Who we share it with
Stripe (payments and identity), our background-check provider, email delivery vendors, hosting infrastructure, and — with your permission — the mentor you book with. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention
We keep account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal, accounting, and safety obligations. Contact us to request deletion.
