I've always been a crafty person, but I became a professional crafter in 2018 when I started to help manage a craft studio in Portland, OR. I know, dream job, right?? My main gig, besides taking care of my two little boys, is embroidery. I love the portability of it and how I can work on it bit by bit to make something really beautiful - kind of like life these days! It also gives me a moment to slow down which I find to be very meditative and necessary. When I'm not teaching embroidery, I've also taught classes on weaving, needle felting, candle making, and plant related crafts (kokedamas, cement planters, and mounted plants).
