Whimsical Ceramic Houses for toads & Fairies
In their own words.
I am known as The Toad House Lady - a nickname in which I take considerable pride. I create whimsical ceramic houses for toads and fairies, complete with a selection of creatures who reside in my mythical Fairy Village. Playing with clay and glazes keeps me young and always learning. I first discovered pottery in college as I worked toward my teaching degree, ending up with a minor in art, mainly due to accumulating LOTS of pottery hours. One of my favorite memories is tending the university salt kiln through the night and hurling rock salt into the gas fire to create its own special kind of glaze. I show and sell my work in well known fine art / craft shows several times a year. Mena has been my home for more than 20 years and there is no place I would rather be.
